
Apple Cinnamon Cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/8 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon apple cinnamon-sugar mixture 3/4sugar+1/4 ground cinnamon
- 1 apple
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375° F, Mix together the white sugar and butter until its fluffy

Mix in the baking powder, vanilla extract and salt. Add in the flour in two additions, Stir in the milk until well combined and set the batter aside.

Cut the apple in half, remove the core and seeds. Slice the apple halves into thin pieces about ¼ of an inch thick.

Lightly spray a 9-inch round cake pan with non-stick spray. Take half of the cake batter and spread it over the bottom of the pan.

Layer half of the apple slices onto the batter, then put half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the layer.

Put the leftover batter over the apple slices, spread out the dough to cover as much of the apples as possible.

Top off the batter by layering the remaining apple slices, then spread the remaining of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over them.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, then let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
