Beetroot dutch dish

Ingredients

  • 400 g Potatoes
  • 400 g Beetroot Pre sliced diced
  • 20 g Salt
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 Red onions

Instructions

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes

  2. Put both Beetroot and Potatoes in separate pans and fill them with water

  3. Let the potatoes boil for about 18 min (Poke it with a fork, if it goes through without issue there done) and the Beetroot for 25 min

  4. Pour off the water of both pans, then let them rest for 3 min

  5. Melt the butter down and use it when serving ( You can also use the leftovers of juices of what you baked your meat in)

  6. Slice and dice the onions and add a portion to each plates

  7. Fill up your plates and add your melted butter / leftover juices to the mix for a extra flavor
