
Chocolate Cake with Ganache Frosting

Ingredients
- 2 cups White Sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tspn baking soda
- 1 tspn salt
- 1/2 cup unweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbpsn distilled white vinegar
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- 8 oz chocolate chips
- 8 oz heavy cream
- 1 tbpsn unsalted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa

Add water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat by hand until smooth

Pour into a 9x13 inch pan, Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into a center of cake comes out clean.

The ganache consists of an heavy cream. chocolate chips, unsalted butter. Bring the mixture to a simmer, pour over chocolate and butter, stir until blended. Let it cool to room temp and then cover the cake
