Crisp Almond Lace Cookies
- 1 1/3 cups slivered almonds
- 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 4 tbspn Flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 stick butter melted
Grind almonds in a food processor until very finely chopped.
In a large bowl, mix together almond, brown sugar, flour and salt.
Add egg, vanilla and melted butter beat it together until combined.
Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil, making sure to leave at least three inches between each cookie, as they will spread during baking.
Almonds can be replaced with any other nut or oats
Bake at 350F for 12 minutes or until brown
