Double Chocolate Cookie
- 213 gram all-purpose flour
- 43 gram cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 171 gram butter unsalted or regular
- 220 gram brown sugar or raw sugar
- 100 gram White Sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg
- 350 gram of white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 165 degrees Celsius (325 degrees Fahrenheit). Line baking tray with baking paper
In a medium bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. then mix in the vanilla extract, egg and egg yolk until it is light, fluffy and creamy.
Mix in the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt until blended.
Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto prepared baking tray.
Bake for 15 or until the edges are slightly toasted. Since these have cocoa in them it's hard to see if they're toasted around the edges,
Cool on baking tray for a few minutes and allow the cookies to harden slightly before moving them.
