
Garlic and Chilli Prawn Pasta
Ingredients
- 300 g Raw Freshwater King Prawns. Peeled
- 100 g Spaghetti Dried
- 4 Spring Onions Sliced
- 2 Cloves Garlic. Bashed and chopped.
- 1 Small Chilli. Diced
- 100 g Tomatoes. Chopped
- Salad leaves
- 50 ml White Wine.
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a pan. (medium heat)

Add the garlic, chilli and spring onions. Add in Salt and Pepper.

Fry off for a couple of minutes.

In another pot, start on cooking the spaghetti, pour salt in the water prior to adding the pasta.

Add wine to the garlic and onions. Turn up the heat slightly

Lower the heat after most of the wine has evaporated. Add in the chopped tomatoes.

Add some more salt and pepper. Cook down for 3 - 4 Minutes

Put in the prawns, Cook them for a couple of minutes until all white and non-opaquey. Any longer and you end up fishy bullets.

By now the pasta should be done, drain the water add a teaspoon of olive oil, a shake or two of ground black pepper and some dry parsley if you have it

Put the spaghetti into your prawn pan. Add a good ol' portion of salad leaves. Over a low heat, mix it all up and let the leaves wilt down. 1 minute should do it.
