Irish butter Steak
Simple way to butter up a steak
- 1 lb rib eye
- 20 g McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
- Kerrygold Irish butter
Let sit at room temp in butchers paper for 2 hr.
Rub in McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, let sit another 30 min.
Cast Iron 8 pan brought to med-high temp. Add in Irish butter to pan, then immediately add steak.
Baste steak for five minutes constantly moving butter to prevent burning, fip steak. And add more butter.
Baste steak until the meat thermometer read 135-140° F
Remove steak from pan and let it rest for 7 minutes.
