- 1.5 lbs potatos sliced
- 3 ozs cheese
- 2 ozs breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 leek chopped
- 1/2 pint milk
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin slices.
Take a fireproof oven dish and cover the bottom with the sliced potatoes.
Sprinkle some of the breadcrumbs, cheese and seasoning over the potatoes.
Repeat steps 2 & 3 ending with a layer of cheese on the top.
Pour the milk over the potatoes, add more if you need it.
Bake in a moderate oven for about 45 minutes. Gas Mark 4
