Sour Cream Chocolate Cupcakes with Nutella Frosting

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 stick room temp. butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • 1/2 cup nutella
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 5 tablespoon heavy cream



  1. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add butter, sour cream, egg and vanilla. Beat until well-blended and fluffy. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.


  1. Mix ingredients together with an electric mixer until fluffy.
