Bacon Wrapped Chicken Sticks

Great grilled appetizer, perfect for summer time

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes


  • 2 teaspoons ancho chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloin
  • 1 oz bacon slices in cut half 12-16 slices


  1. Blend together Chile powder, salt, pepper and smoked paprika this will be your seasoning blend.

  2. Place seasoning blend into gallon zip-lock bag. Add chicken tenderloin's and shake well to coat.

  3. Let chicken marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

  4. Pre-heat grill to medium heat. Oil the grill grate to keep the chicken from sticking.

  5. Wrap each chicken tender with bacon. Then Carefully skewer chicken and bacon "shish kabob" style.

  6. Grill chicken, frequently turning, until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
