Blue Cheese Cream Scones


Blue Cheese Cream Frosting

  • 5 tablespoon cold butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream


  • 2/3 cup blue cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream



  1. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

  2. Mix in butter with fingers until well integrated, mixture should be like coarse sand.

  3. Add cream, and lightly mix with your fingers until the mixture holds together.

  4. Put on floured board, push out to a thickness of about 3/4 inch, and cut into small circles

  5. Bake at 375F for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.


  1. Crumble or smash blue cheese into small pieces.

  2. In a bowl, beat blue cheese and heavy cream with an electric mixer until well mixed and fluffy.

  3. Top scones with a dolop of fig jam and dolop of frosting.
