  • 8 Hot Dogs
  • 1-2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 yellow or white onions- sliced very thin
  • 2 ounce bacon
  • 8 hot dog buns- toasted
  • 1 tsp spicy brown mustard

Hot Dog Sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1-2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar


  1. In a skillet, over medium heat, saute the onion in the olive oil over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

  2. In a small pan slow bake the bacon until nice and crisp then set it aside and covered.

  3. In a medium pot over medium heat, boil the sauce ingredients for about 5 minutes. Stirring frequently. Then remove from heat and let it cool down till serving time

  4. Cut slits on two sides of the hot dogs and grill until they are darkened and the skin is nice and crispy.

  5. Assemble dogs by adding the spicy brown mustard on the bun, then the hot dog,onions,bacon,cheese,top it off with the sauce.
