Spicy Tofu Nuggets

  • 1 package Tofu
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili pepper
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp applesauce
  • cooking spray


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line your baking tray with foil and lightly coat the bottom with cooking spray

  2. Cut your tofu into little cubes, Wrap the cubes in some kitchen paper for 15 minutes. This is to soak up some of the moisture.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the panko crumbs, garlic powder, chili, applesauce, and salt.

  4. Take the tofu and cover each one in the mixture on all side. Then place each cube on the baking tray.

  5. Bake the nuggets for about 10 minutes, flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Allow the nuggets to cool. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
